Edukacja Polska S.A. has won a tender for delivery of teaching aids, including materials based on Montessori methodology. Our products will be delivered to special and integrated kindergartens, kindergartens with integrated playgroups, as well as other special and integrated educational institutions spread all over the country. This project, executed under the auspices of the Ministry of National Education, obliges Edukacja Polska to train teachers in Montessori pedagogy. Courses will be organized for teachers from 280 educational institutions from the entire country, and will take place between September 7 and December 8, 2007, in the Special School Complex no. 103 in Poznań.

There are two parts of the course: theoretical and practical. First one consists in a presentation and a lecture, while the other is conducted in the form of workshops based on the following modules: theoretical discussion of the specificity of each section of Montessori materials, presentation of principles of creating developmental materials, practical show and detailed description how to work with materials. The curriculum in its practical part is adjusted to the set of Montessori materials that will be delivered to kindergartens before the end of the year, as it is specified in the contract terms. Such a structure of the course guarantees that all materials will be used comprehensively and that all trainees will acquire indispensable methodological competence in Montessori pedagogy. Training course covers 95 periods for 20-person groups.

Another thing they value is the possibility to observe groups led according to that methodology and the opportunity to gain first experience in direct Montessori-based work with children.

In the nearest future Edukacja Polska S.A. is going to broaden its product offer with Montessori materials and make them available not only to institutions already covered by the contract with the Ministry of National Education. The company?s offer will also include materials not being within the scope of the contract.
