Edukacja Polska sponsored the competition for Best teacher of 2007 in the Małopolska region, organized by Dziennik Polski, the largest news paper of that region. This competition has already well-founded tradition, it has been organized for several years and has already had over ten thousand participants. Sponsoring of this event falls within the strategy of Edukacja Polska ? to support the most valuable educational and social initiatives. We believe that the education system, similarly as other areas of life, needs leaders, extraordinary and charismatic people, people who like their work and who have the ?drive? to work well. Teachers who possess these qualities deserve special recognition, gratitude and support. We were very satisfied to offer the prize of 5,000.00 Polish zlotys to Ms. Małgorzata Rolke ? primary education teacher from the Holy Family of Nazareth Primary School in Krakow. We awarded also the school, offering teaching aids worth 5,000.00 zlotys. The ceremony, held in the school?s auditorium, was enlivened by a presentation of songs and dances by the school?s students ? full of joy and good energy.
